Our primary designer, Cindy Shuart, is a degreed* ornamental horticulturist who has a deep understanding of plant materials and the environment, together with years of experience designing and overseeing installations of hard-scaping of all kinds. From pools, patios, walkways, steps, fireplaces, fire pits, to kitchens and gazebos - she will put it all together for you.
These days, all of us are thinking more carefully about our environment and staying in touch with the changing times. We are more mindful than ever of protecting the Chesapeake Bay and we'll suggest measures for minimizing runoff, capturing and using your rainwater with the use of rain barrels, and planting rain gardens to enhance infiltration on your property.
With the growing concerns for our food security and safety, many of us have shifted our focus of plantings towards a more sustainable landscape. Vegetable, fruit trees and herb gardens can be an integral part of all of our home landscapes these days. Edible landscaping is fun, rewarding and just plain smart.
